Our Fleet
We do not outsource transportation to third-party carriers. Every truck in our fleet is owned and operated by Oakland Pallets, which means we control the schedule, the quality, and the accountability.
Flatbed Trucks
8 unitsOur primary delivery vehicle for large pallet orders. Flatbeds carry up to 500 pallets per load depending on stack configuration. Equipped with tie-down points and load tarps for secure transport.
Box Trucks
3 unitsEnclosed trucks for smaller deliveries and pickups where weather protection or mixed loads require it. Ideal for orders under 200 units or deliveries to facilities without covered dock access.
Stake Bed Trucks
2 unitsVersatile medium-duty trucks for quick local runs, rush deliveries, and pickups in tight spaces where a full flatbed would not maneuver easily. Great for same-day service within the core Bay Area.
Fleet Maintenance & Safety
Every truck in our fleet follows a strict maintenance schedule. Pre-trip inspections are performed daily, and all vehicles undergo comprehensive service checks on a monthly basis. Our drivers hold valid CDL licenses where required and receive ongoing training in safe load handling, DOT compliance, and customer service protocols.
We carry full commercial insurance coverage on every vehicle and every load. When our truck is on your property, you can be confident that both the equipment and the operator meet professional standards.

Scheduling Process
Booking a pickup or delivery is straightforward. Here is how the process works from start to finish.
Request a Service
Contact us via our website form or email. Tell us what you need — delivery, pickup, or both — along with the address, preferred date, quantity, and any dock restrictions (hours, access limitations, forklift availability).
Confirmation & Scheduling
Our logistics team confirms availability and provides a delivery or pickup window. For standard service, this is typically a 4-hour morning or afternoon window. Rush requests receive a specific time commitment.
Day-of Communication
On the scheduled day, you receive a notification when the truck departs our facility and an estimated arrival time. If anything changes — traffic, weather, a delay at a prior stop — we let you know proactively.
Service Completion
Our driver completes the delivery or pickup, provides documentation (delivery receipt or pickup count), and confirms everything with your on-site contact. Any issues are flagged and resolved before the truck leaves.
Pricing Structure
We keep transportation pricing simple and transparent. No fuel surcharges, no hidden fees, no invoice surprises.
Free Delivery Thresholds
Orders above our zone-based minimum (100 pallets for Zone 1, 200 for Zone 2) include free delivery. Below those thresholds, a flat delivery fee is quoted upfront so you always know the total before confirming.
Free Pickup
Pickup is free for loads of 50 or more pallets within Zones 1 and 2. Smaller pickups or extended area locations may carry a nominal pickup charge, communicated before scheduling.
Rush Service Fees
Same-day and next-day rush service carries a surcharge based on distance and load size. Pallet Management Program members receive rush service at no additional charge as part of their agreement.
Recurring Route Discounts
Businesses on a standing delivery or pickup schedule receive discounted transportation rates. The more consistent the schedule, the more we save on routing — and we pass those savings to you.
