A real person from our team reviews your request and gets back to you by the next business day. For straightforward orders, we'll send a quote right away. For complex requirements, we may ask a few clarifying questions first.

Custom Quote & Consultation

We prepare a detailed quote tailored to your specific needs — including pricing, pallet grades, delivery schedule, and any special services like heat treatment or custom builds. No generic pricing sheets. Every quote is built for you.

Confirmation & Scheduling

Once you approve the quote, we lock in your order and schedule delivery. Our logistics team coordinates the timing to fit your operations. We'll confirm the delivery window by email so you know exactly when to expect us.

We respond to all inquiries within one business day — most often within a few hours during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM). If you reach out over the weekend or on a holiday, you'll hear from us first thing the next business day.

Our primary delivery zone covers the entire San Francisco Bay Area within a 50-mile radius of our Oakland yard. This includes San Francisco, San Jose, Fremont, Hayward, Berkeley, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, and everywhere in between. We also serve extended areas like Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto — just ask about lead times and delivery fees for these zones.

No minimum order for most standard pallet sizes and grades. You can buy a single pallet or a full truckload. That said, our best per-unit pricing starts at 500+ units, and delivery is most cost-effective for orders of 50+ pallets. For custom-built pallets, the typical minimum is 50 units.

We accept credit cards, business checks, and ACH bank transfers. Established business accounts can apply for Net 30 payment terms after their first order. New customers are welcome to apply for credit — we'll review your application quickly so you can get set up without delays.

Absolutely. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours — Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. No appointment needed for standard purchases. If you need a large volume or specific grade pulled, it helps to email us ahead of time so we can have everything ready when you arrive.

Directions to Our Facility

We're located in the heart of Oakland's industrial waterfront, just minutes from the Port of Oakland. Here's how to get here from the major Bay Area highways.

From I-880 (Nimitz Freeway)

  1. Take the West Grand Avenue exit heading west toward the waterfront.
  2. Continue on West Grand Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.
  3. Turn left onto G Street.
  4. Our facility is on the right side, approximately 0.3 miles down G Street. Look for the Oakland Pallets sign and stacked pallets in the yard.

From I-580 (MacArthur Freeway)

  1. Merge onto I-80 West toward the Bay Bridge / San Francisco.
  2. Take the West Grand Avenue exit and head west.
  3. Follow West Grand Avenue for about 1.5 miles toward the waterfront.
  4. Turn left onto G Street. We're approximately 0.3 miles down on the right.

From the Bay Bridge (I-80 East)

  1. After crossing the Bay Bridge into Oakland, take the West Grand Avenue exit.
  2. Head west on West Grand Avenue toward the waterfront and port area.
  3. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto G Street.
  4. Our yard is 0.3 miles ahead on the right-hand side.

From I-980 / Downtown Oakland

  1. Take I-980 north, which merges into I-580 West / I-80 West.
  2. Take the West Grand Avenue exit and head west toward the waterfront.
  3. Continue straight on West Grand Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.
  4. Turn left onto G Street and continue 0.3 miles to our facility on the right.

Sometimes you need pallets yesterday. We understand — supply chain emergencies don't wait for business hours. Here's how our rush service works.

24-Hour Turnaround

For standard pallet sizes in stock, we can fulfill and deliver your order within 24 hours of confirmation. This applies to orders placed during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM) for delivery within our primary Bay Area zone. Rush orders placed before 10 AM can often be delivered the same day.

Rush Pricing

Emergency orders carry a rush surcharge on top of standard pricing. The exact fee depends on order size, delivery distance, and timing. We'll quote you the total cost upfront before you commit — no hidden fees. For high-volume accounts on our Pallet Management Program, rush deliveries are included at reduced rates.

How to Place an Emergency Order

Email us at info@oaklandpallets.com with “RUSH ORDER” in the subject line. Include the pallet type, size, quantity, delivery address, and your desired timeline. Our team prioritizes rush requests and will respond as quickly as possible to confirm availability and pricing.

Preventing Emergencies
