Built for the Production Floor

Manufacturing environments demand pallets that can handle heavy machinery parts, raw steel coils, engine blocks, and oversized assemblies. Standard pallets often aren't enough — you need reinforced decks, custom dimensions, and block-style construction for 4-way access. A pallet failure on a production line doesn't just damage product — it stops the line, creates safety hazards, and cascades delays through your entire operation.

We supply both recycled heavy-duty pallets and custom-built solutions for manufacturing operations. Our block pallets are rated for 5,000+ lbs dynamic load, and we can build oversize pallets up to 8 feet in any dimension. For facilities running multiple shifts, we offer JIT delivery schedules that match your production cadence — pallets arrive when your line needs them, not before and not after.

Every manufacturing facility is different. A precision electronics assembler needs clean, splinter-free pallets with flush-driven nails. A steel fabricator needs pallets that withstand 8,000 lb coils without deflection. A consumer goods manufacturer needs consistent 48x40 pallets that integrate with automated packaging lines. We maintain the inventory depth and custom fabrication capability to serve all of these requirements simultaneously.

Just-In-Time Pallet Delivery

Manufacturing runs on timing. Raw materials arrive, production transforms them, and finished goods ship out — all on schedules measured in hours, not days. Your pallet supply needs to operate on the same clock. Our JIT delivery program synchronizes pallet arrivals with your production schedule, eliminating the need for large on-site pallet inventories that consume floor space and tie up capital.

Here is how it works: we establish your weekly and daily consumption patterns, maintain a dedicated buffer inventory at our facility, and deliver on a schedule that keeps your staging area stocked without overflowing. For high-volume accounts, we can deliver daily or even twice daily during peak production periods. Your account representative monitors consumption and adjusts delivery quantities proactively.

The result is a leaner operation. Thurston, a plant manager at a metal stamping facility in Hayward, reduced his pallet staging footprint by 60% after switching to our JIT program — reclaiming 2,400 square feet of production floor that had been used for pallet storage.

Heavy-Duty Pallet Specifications

Standard Block Pallet (48x40)

2,500 lbs dynamic / 5,000 lbs static

Hardwood block construction with 7-board top deck. True 4-way forklift entry. Compatible with standard racking systems.

Heavy-Duty Block (48x48)

5,000 lbs dynamic / 10,000 lbs static

Reinforced 9-block design with 3/4" thick deck boards. Full perimeter base for maximum racking beam contact. Designed for steel, castings, and machinery.

Oversize Custom (up to 96x96)

Engineered per application

Built to order for sheet goods, large assemblies, and industrial equipment. Hardwood or mixed-material construction. Skid runners available for drag loading.

Flush-Deck Panel (48x40)

3,000 lbs dynamic / 6,000 lbs static

Full-coverage top deck with no gaps. Prevents small parts from falling through. Ideal for fastener bins, electronic components, and bagged materials.

Manufacturing Sub-Sector Solutions

Manufacturing is not a single industry — it is dozens of specialized sectors, each with distinct pallet requirements. We have developed tailored solutions for the manufacturing sub-sectors most active in the Bay Area and Northern California.

Automotive Parts Manufacturing

Engine blocks, transmission housings, brake rotors, and stamped body panels each have distinct pallet requirements. We supply heavy-duty block pallets for powertrain components, A-frame racks for painted panels, and flush-deck pallets for boxed fasteners and small parts. Returnable systems reduce packaging waste for inter-plant shipments.

Electronics & Semiconductor

Precision electronics require clean, splinter-free pallets that won't generate particulate contamination. Our electronics-grade pallets feature planed surfaces, flush-driven fasteners, and optional anti-static treatments. Lightweight construction reduces shipping costs for high-value, low-weight products.

Heavy Machinery & Equipment

Industrial machinery, generators, compressors, and fabricated steel assemblies often exceed standard pallet load ratings. We engineer custom skids and platform pallets rated for concentrated point loads up to 10,000 lbs. Heat-treated hardwood construction withstands the demands of heavy fabrication environments.

Chemical & Plastics

Drum pallets, IBC tote platforms, and containment-compatible designs for chemical manufacturing. Pallets are inspected for chemical compatibility and can be supplied with spill containment lips. ISPM-15 treatment available for export of chemical products.

Metal Fabrication & Steel

Steel coils, bar stock, plate, and structural shapes demand pallets that won't buckle under concentrated loads. Our fabrication-grade pallets use full-width hardwood stringers and reinforced deck boards designed for point loading. Custom cradle pallets available for coil and tube stock.

Consumer Goods Assembly

Appliance, furniture, and consumer product manufacturers need consistent pallets that integrate with automated packaging lines. Our Grade B pallets provide the dimensional consistency required for automated stretch wrapping, labeling, and conveyor systems at a fraction of new pallet cost.

Returnable Pallet Programs

For manufacturers shipping between their own facilities or to dedicated customers on regular routes, one-way pallets are an unnecessary expense. Our returnable pallet program creates a closed-loop system where pallets are tracked, returned, inspected, and recirculated — reducing your per-shipment packaging cost by 40-60% over time.

01

Assessment

We analyze your shipping routes, volumes, and part protection requirements to design the optimal returnable pallet configuration.

02

Design & Build

Custom pallets are engineered with reinforced construction for 50+ trip cycles. RFID or barcode tracking is integrated for inventory visibility.

03

Deploy & Track

Pallets enter your supply chain with unique identifiers. We provide tracking tools to monitor location, trip count, and condition status.

04

Return & Inspect

Pallets return to origin or to our facility for inspection. Damaged units are repaired or replaced. Tracking data updates automatically.

05

Report & Optimize

Quarterly reports detail trip counts, loss rates, repair costs, and cost-per-trip metrics. We refine the program based on real performance data.

Custom Pallet Engineering

When your product does not fit a standard pallet, we build to your specifications. Our custom fabrication shop produces pallets, skids, crates, and hybrid packaging solutions for products that range from 200-pound electronics cabinets to 8,000-pound steel assemblies.

The process starts with a site visit. We examine your product dimensions, weight distribution, handling equipment, storage racking, and shipping methods. From there, we produce a design drawing with material specifications, load ratings, and cost estimates. Prototypes are delivered for testing before production runs begin.

Recent custom projects include 72x72 inch platform pallets for industrial generator sets, flush-deck pallets with anti-slip coatings for bagged polymer resin, and collapsible A-frame racks for sheet metal transport. Lead times for custom builds typically range from 5 to 10 business days depending on complexity and volume.
