Pallet pile growing out of control? Here are your options for surplus pallet management — from selling to recycling.
It's a scenario we see all the time: a warehouse or distribution center accumulates pallets faster than they go out. Before long, you've got a mountain of pallets eating up valuable floor space, creating fire hazards, and attracting pests.
Option 1: Sell them. If your surplus pallets are in decent condition (Grade A or B), they have real market value. We buy used pallets in any quantity — and we pick them up for free when volumes exceed 50 units.
Option 2: Recycle them. For pallets in rough shape — broken boards, damaged stringers, contamination — recycling is the responsible choice. We accept all conditions and ensure 100% material recovery.
Option 3: Set up a management program. The best long-term solution is preventing surplus in the first place. Our pallet management programs include scheduled pickup of outgoing pallets, so they never pile up.
Option 4: Repurpose internally. If you have a creative team, surplus pallets can be repurposed for garden beds, shelving, display fixtures, or other projects. Just make sure they haven't been treated with chemicals.
